TGIF---plus new stamps and a card I made

TGIF---I am so thankful today is Friday and next week is our spring break at school.  After spring break the time will fly until summer....WooHoo!!  I love my job but I also love being able to get some much needed R&R.

On to the card.  I put this together last night using Amy R as my inspiration.  Her blog is called Paper Prairie and Ink and I love the way she puts her cards together.  I used a tree stamp from Stampendous, some BG paper from the Pyrus collection and just some kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby.



I used Bic Mark-its to color the tree.  I really want some copics but just can't justify the cost at this time.  Maybe down the road.

    Lovely card. I use the Bic Mark-Its for coloring too. Maybe if I colored more I would think about investing in Copics. Have a great weekend!

    Such a pretty card. I think you are doing great with your markers.
